ROBODOC is a robot which will be able to perform some of the tasks which only a doctor is able to perform. ROBODOC can help massively in reducing the burden on Healthcare services. ROBODOC is our Next step in Automating the Medical Diagnostic process which Includes History taking (Achieved by ZINI), General & Systemic Physical Examination (to be done by ROBODOC), Investigations and Treatme- nt. ROBODOC can also work in the remote regions where primary healthcare is not available to the pe- ople. ROBODOC will do the Initial History gathering as well as Basic Physical Examination including me- asuring BP, Pulse temperature,height,weight & nutr- itional status of the Patient before they meet the d- octor in personand provide all that information to the doctor need beforehand. ROBODOC does not need neccessarily a doctor to supervise it and will be able to perform its task independently without the help of a doctor. It will be able to reduce the workload on healthcare services , better gather/ organise health data and share it with the doctors and Government.
Under the Project ROBODOC, the robots will be placed in communities where they will act as healthcare professionals and will be remotely connected with our research center. They will collect health data of the community and will be able to provide primary healthcare services. The activities of the robots will be monitored by human doctors at the research center and the emergency cases can be flag- ged by the robots.
ROBODOC will be a semi-humanoid robot and it will be somewhat smaller in height than an average human being . It will have 12 wheels to move around the place and would be able to maneuver and move in any direction . ROBODOC will also have a camera on its head which will serve as eyes to the robot and help it in identifying people, objects and sorroundin- gs. The camera will also help gather Patient data like height of patient and patient’s appearance (from a Medical Point of View) . It will have extendable Arm rest with Digital sensors to measure Blood Pressure, Pulse, Body temperature and Oxygen saturation. He- nce, it will be able to perform a general Physical exa- mination on patients . ROBODOC will also possess a screen on its chest area which will instruct patients and people working with the robot and include the ZINI Diagnostic Chatbot in it the screen itself. The screen will also display the information gathered fro- m the patients like BP, Pulse, Sugar, Height, Weight, Arm circumference and more with their ID. ROBODOC will also able to report Chest X RAY Images and ECG Graphs of the patiens using its camera and computer vision technology. ROBODOC also has weaghing sca- le to measue weight and wheels to move around.B- esides all this he will use Artificial Intelligence based algorithms and technologies like Natural Language Processing , Computer Vision , Speech Recognition , Voice generation Data Analysis to interact with patie- nts and Doctors as well as Guide them with best su- ggestions as per the need and Situation.
